Quod Brasserie Reviews
-Quod boasts a large bar, a stunning terrace and a rare city centre car park to the rear, and represents in many ways the very best of what Oxford has to offer. Centrally located between University Colleges, with students, tourists and local professionals passing by its huge glass frontage, Quod is lively, stylish and great for a meal for two or a night out with a group of friends. Quod is inspired, it is fun, but it is also a great dining experience. You can’t honestly ask for much more. http://www.inoxfordmag.co.uk/reviews/quod.html – In Oxford magazine
-The beautiful brickwork, pretty arched windows and modern art make it a tempting place to meander into if you fancy anything from a quiet bite to eat, a full-on supper, or a drink at the island bar. It’s always got a lot of customers regardless of the time of day with a lively brasserie feel. A beautiful ‘quod’ of its own, (at least a rather nice outdoor seating area out back) makes this a decent spot particularly in warmer weather. The zinc-topped island bar sits to one side of the large room. The drinks list is promising, running from genuine old school drinks to modern classics – Diffords guide May 10th 2011
-Lively Italian-influenced brasserie with busy, buzzy vibe, set within a city centre hotel and once the banking hall of the area’s first bank. Accessible menu and twice-daily blackboard specials. – The Michelin guide
-If you’ve not been to Oxford for a while you may not have discovered Quod Brasserie and Bar, occupying the ground floor of the former Barcalays Bank on the High Street. This has now become the city’s most popular and stylish brasserie, with pizzas, salads, fish and meat dishes and daily specials briskly served by glamorous waiting staff.

-Quod feels like the place to be, and be seen, in Oxford. A rollicking vibe to the place – it’s a large restaurant and bar carved out of what was apparently once a bank. Large windows face High Street. We found it great for all three meals of the day. – Trip advisor November 2011
-I live in Oxford and visit Quod fairly regularly. The location is great – right on the High Street and easy to get to from Broad Street and many of the colleges. The interior is spacious and airy and there is also a lovely patio for warmer days. The menu is great – a real variety of food at good prices – and the service is always fast and efficient. The cocktails are great! The clientele is a mixture of locals and visitors. If I have people coming to Oxford to visit, Quod is the place I normally take them to. Love it! – Trip advisor August 2011
